Dialogue Night is coming up THIS Thursday November 15th. We received from information from the Guidance Department and also interviewed Mr. Pisa about the evening.

From Guidance:

Dialogue Night is going to be a Family Feud this year!

Join the CORE 8 Peer Leaders on Thursday, November 15th at 7 pm to see how much you know about the life of a Millburn Middle School student.

More than 250 students were surveyed and their answers will be turned into Family Feud questions. CORE 8 Peer Leaders will lead 12 different groups in 10 rounds of Family Feud.

And, by the way, it is a No-Homework Night!

The topics for this year’s competition will be Middle School Culture, Home Life, and School Life. Questions range from “Who would you name as a role model?” to “How many times a year do you take your PE clothes home to be washed?” to “Which academic subject causes the most stress?”

Stay tuned for registration information. You will be able to register in advance to avoid lines on game night.

Students in 6th and 7th grades who are considering applying for peer leadership in the spring are encouraged to attend this event. Students will receive a certificate of participation that can be included in their peer leader applications.

All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students and adults play on the same team, but family members will play in different rooms. Students will not be in the same room as their parents or guardians.

Dialogue Night is sponsored by the MMS Guidance Department in an attempt to promote important discussions between our Middle School students and their parents or guardians. The program will end at 8:30 pm.
