In this reversed darker story of The Wizard of Oz, Amy Gumm finds out she is the other girl from Kansas. She is recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked after she was swept by a tornado that took her to Oz.

She soon learns that Dorothy and the Good Witches were quite the opposite of what all the stories and movies had told her they were. Shocked by what her childhood dream place is really like, she is determined to help the Revolution take down Dorothy and her allies. After Amy had completed her training with the Revolution, she was given four tasks: remove the Tin Woodman’s heart, steal the Scarecrow’s brain, take the Lion’s courage, and kill Dorothy.

This fantastic series is filled with action, betrayals, suspense, and unexpected romance. I would totally recommend this book if you love story re-tellings!
