Ten teams, two players, and 20 high speeding cars on 23 trickiest circuits worldwide! This is F1 in a nutshell. Formula One is an international racing sport/competition. In a nutshell, F1 is where 20 drivers race around in a high-speed car, the quicker you finish your racing laps the more points you get. On Friday, 60-minute practice sessions, on Saturday there is a 100km sprint race to set the grid order (the order in which the cars are lined up in the race). Finally, on Sunday we have the Grand Prix which you cannot participate in unless you have raced in the 100km sprint race.  Before you know it, it’s Sunday and your favorite driver is ready to race. Throughout an F1 race cars have to stop at the pitlane located near the finish line. Here they can change tires or even large pieces of the chassis. The average time to remove and reattach new tires is 2.5 seconds however the record has been set at the 2019 Brazilian Grand Prix, 1.82 seconds. While F1 drivers earn around $500,000 to $55 million, it is an extremely dangerous job. While cruising at 220 MPH safety, is a vital part of the race. All f1 drivers are required to wear helmets, heat, fire-resistant suits, and more. They have to race 78 laps so, accidents are bound to happen. One of the famous crashes is the Romain Grosjean fireball crash in Bahrain. So the job is not easy, and the stakes are high.

The most important part of F1, the teams and their drivers! Red Bull Honda Racing has Max Verstappen and Sergio (Checo) Perez. From Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 there are Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. McLaren has drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo. Scuderia Ferrari has Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda are from Scuderia AlphaTauri. From Alpine there are Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon, and from Williams there are Nicholas Latifi and Alex Albon. Alfa Romeo has Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou, and finally Haas has Mich Schumacher, Nikita Mazepin.

Every other Sunday there are races located all over the world, from Austin, TX to Abu Dhabi. The most famous circuits are Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monte-Carlo Monaco Grand Prix, and the Yas Marina Circuit. Some common household names in the Formula 1 world are Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes AMG Petronas, Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing, and Valtteri Bottas from Alfa Romeo Racing.
